but, but... it's so PRETTY!

damn you...

Seriously though, I've already ran into a number of technical issues with it - mostly along the lines of certain sites whose functionality just breaks... so that pretty much throws it out of the running for primary browser right there.

But MAN I do love its font handling... it's like the new Safari is the inverse of the new Firefox - which has great security, but a lot of people are complaining about what it does to fonts. If only some mad scientist could fuse the best of the two together!

Hope you don't need any security because Safari lacks key security features and doesn't disclose much about security issues during its (infrequent) updates.

It also doesn't support extensions. Maybe you don't use those but I have about 10 installed right now.

By the way, I hope that you aren't using Safari on Windows. It isn't exactly Apple's first priority to keep that version as up to date as the OS X version and they do a lousy job at that.

I'd expect something like this from someone who works on a browser.

Come talk to me after you quit seeing <code>font</code> tags everywhere. :-)

Isn't XHTML technically defunct as a path for HTML? HTML 5 is getting close to done and is not a further development of XHTML.

I rarely know what I am writing before I work through the process of writing it. I have a fair idea, maybe a vague outline but I don't have it figured out A to Z beforehand. The act of writing itself creates the written words and they often evolve on their own as I write, to the point where I go back and rewrite earlier sections to match a later understanding.
